The house is beautifully restored, with a great kitchen and barbecue, and the owners have thought of everything. They live just a few fields away and were incredibly friendly and helpful. We also had a pottery class with Jenny and Liz, which was both fun and fascinating. They left a generous welcome pack of local treats, including vegetables and eggs from their garden and hens. We loved chatting with them about life in Spain. There’s real privacy here, with no one overlooking the house, and the olive groves and vine-shaded terraces make it easy to unwind. The pool is large, always clean, and a lovely temperature, surrounded by wild herbs, honeysuckle, and jasmine. Several garden terraces have well-placed seating for different times of day. Morning coffee and evening wine under the dappled vines, listening to birds and palm leaves in the breeze, was a dream. The village has everything you need, from local meat, fish, vegetables, and wine in the little shops to beer, tapas, and plenty of good restaurants. We took day trips to Seville, Ronda, and Jerez, and the central location makes much of Andalusia reachable. We’ll definitely be back!

The owners are lovely, and they’ve made sure the house has everything needed for a comfortable stay. This renovated farmhouse was spotless, with beautiful rooms, pretty gardens, and a fantastic pool. The hosts were superb, always nearby to answer questions and help. The accommodation was spotless, and the facilities were the best I’ve come across in a Spanish village. A fabulous place to get away from it all in comfort and peace. I’m looking forward to returning soon.

The house feels brand new and was very clean, a great place for a peaceful break from the city. There’s a fenced pool, showers in all three bathrooms, a new kitchen, and two large outdoor areas with big tables and a great barbecue. With no neighbors, the countryside around it is quiet and restful. The owner is charming and very attentive, so we had everything we needed. Olvera is close by and well worth seeing for its sights and food. I recommend the castle and the greenway. We’ll be back!
