We were very well looked after as part of a group of about 40 people, including cyclists. The welcome came with good food and wine, and the village is beautiful, with a lovely setting for the bar and restaurant. Highly recommend.

The staff were very friendly, and the house wine was very good. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, with good, simply prepared food at a very good price. The room was spotless and big enough for us, and the bed was very comfortable. Great location for a stopover to visit the monastery or a longer stay for hiking the trails.

The weekend lunch menu was 21 euros and the food was okay. I’d have expected some dishes to come with fries or vegetables instead of just lettuce. Cod with lettuce wasn’t great, mainly because of the lettuce.

Everything we ate was really tasty. The service was great too, and they answered some of our questions about the lovely town where the restaurant is. Our food came straight to the table after we ordered. :)
