The owner was so kind when we had to change plans. My husband and I tested positive for COVID just a day before our weekend stay, and María offered us another date and changed the reservation. Cal Ferrer was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped. We had a spectacular weekend there and will happily recommend it. I already have, and we’ll probably come back too.

We’ll definitely return. María and her husband were lovely and treated us so well, and the garden, barbecue, and pool felt like a little paradise. Cal Ferrer is even prettier than the photos, with everything you need and lots of spacious, comfortable rooms. It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, yet about 20 minutes from places like Banyoles, Besalú, Figueres, and Girona.
