We loved how peaceful the house was, with a little private garden area and sun loungers beside the pool. The beds were very comfortable too. The kitchen has a microwave and toaster but no oven, which was fine for us. There’s also a smart TV for a relaxed movie night. Maria and Oliver made us feel at home from the start during our two weeks in Órgiva. They showed us what we needed to know, were easy to reach, and gladly helped with questions or requests. The apartment was cozy, well equipped, and very clean. We didn’t end up cooking together because we were often out, but we appreciated that the option was offered. When we needed a measuring cup, they brought one right away, a small but thoughtful touch. Oliver also helped us with Spanish translations and bookings, including sightseeing in Granada. Granada and Málaga are both easy to reach by car. There are lovely hikes into the mountains starting right at the house, so it’s a great setting for anyone who enjoys walking. We had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday and would happily come back. Many thanks to Maria and Oliver! 🤎

There’s a lovely market in town on Thursdays, and you can set off on a hike into beautiful surroundings right from the house. I had a beautiful stay. The hosts are lovely, the view is incredible, and the bed is comfortable. Everything feels carefully thought out. I loved it here 😊

Oliver and Maria were wonderful sources of information about the area, and the pool was a great bonus that we used every day. They welcomed us with local homemade wine, grapes from the property, and homemade olive oil made from olives grown there. It’s a fantastic location for getting to both the mountains and the beach, and town is within walking distance. We’d love to visit again!

I stayed for several weeks in Oliver and Maria’s Tropical Studio and felt completely at home and comfortable. Their garden is peaceful, with a glorious south-facing view that gets sunshine. In summer, having the pool is a real plus. What I’ll remember most is the relaxed feeling that welcomes you as soon as you arrive. Oliver and Maria are experienced hosts and delightful people. Spain is especially beautiful here, and I had to wrench myself away when my stay ended. Go meet them, and come back often. You won’t be disappointed. Shaena and Tess-the-collie.
