The rooms were clean and the staff friendly, and breakfast was simple. There’s no evening bar, and parking was a real problem: every space nearby is for residents. I left my motorcycle on the pavement outside, though apparently that isn’t technically allowed. The town center is a short walk away, with a small, quiet port. It’s quite nice, but there aren’t many places to eat.

The location is handy, close to the center and beach, and the room was clean. Still, for the price I expected a lot more, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here or come back after my weekend. The ground floor room smelled damp as soon as I walked in. They seem to deal with it by leaving the window open, so after a day out I came back at night to an open window and mosquitoes. There are no blinds, either, and the streetlights make it really hard to sleep. There’s no hairdryer, and the toiletries are just one little shampoo sachet per person. You also can’t leave your backpack anywhere after check-out, which I think is essential. There isn’t a reception desk, just WhatsApp or phone contact.
