It’s a quaint little village, and the people are friendly. The rooms were clean, and the staff let us check in early. The set meal for 11 euros was excellent, and the waitress who served us was a credit to the hotel. Our room had no wifi or air conditioning, so the evenings were hot and boring. At the bar, we were offered cheese and bread that weren’t good, then the bald gentleman behind the bar charged us 10 euros for those and a few small beers. I was shocked, since it wasn’t worth 10. We also had to sit outside in the heat because a card game was taking priority over guests. It’s a nice place to stay, though I’d choose winter next time and maybe bring Monopoly to pass the time :)

A great stop for bikers and motorcyclists, with everything you need. Marie was hospitable and gave excellent attention in a second language. The bed was good and the sheets were clean. It’s not the prettiest place, but it’s perfect when you’re on the road. Urgain 2 has a lift right beside secure parking, and it’s really good value.

A great find with excellent value for money. The place is beautiful and very well located for exploring the Baztán Valley. We stayed one night with breakfast included, and the food at the restaurant next door was fantastic. It’s owned by the same people, and we’ll definitely stay there and have dinner again when we return. The only downside is that it gets hot at night, which is normal for the location. Best regards.
