The location is beautiful and the staff are friendly, but the rest of the stay was a letdown. For a hotel claiming to be 4-star Superior, paying €5 for 1.5 hours in the gym is shocking. The sauna costs €15 to use, and it’s shared, not private. We were promised an hour but got less. There was no coffee in the room. If you want to train early or start your day before everything opens at 8am, there’s no self-serve machine or early access. Plenty of people are up at 6am. This feels like basic hospitality, not a luxury extra. They also ask for a €10 deposit for a beach towel. At a hotel calling itself superior, these rules make guests feel unwelcome and seem more about protecting the hotel’s bottom line than valuing people. For the price and the claimed stars, it felt like a 3-star hotel hiding behind a fancy label, with so many rules that guests feel like an inconvenience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect, especially dinner, which was five-star. The rooms have beautiful sea views, and to me this is the most beautiful hotel in Oropesa. I’d highly recommend it.

I’m back for a second visit, and this lovely, spotless, well-run hotel is just as good as before. The town itself is a little gem. I love coming in late autumn when it’s relaxed and quiet. Valencia is an hour away, and the rail network and motorway are easy to reach. I highly recommend a visit for older couples or solo travellers. Learn a little Spanish and you’ll love it here.

The people at Koral Beach made the stay. The restaurant team were quick, cheerful, and always smiling, and two staff members went especially far out of their way. LUPE got a grease mark out of my shirt, while CARLA came over whenever we ran into a translation problem. Neither had to do those things, but both did them gladly. Koral Beach should be proud of its staff.

We had a breathtaking view from our room, and the service was lovely everywhere. In the evenings we returned to a beautifully made-up room, thanks to the chambermaids. The reception team were unfailingly polite, and the bar and terrace staff were happy to help with anything. Breakfast started the day well too, with a warm welcome and very polite staff. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
