It felt like staying at my grandmother’s home, and the hostess was so warm and caring. This is an apartment converted into an albergue, so there’s no regular reception desk. You call the number on the door, and a kind lady comes to welcome you, explain things and show you around. Breakfast is included, and you can use the coffee, tea, kitchen utensils and even take food from the fridge. They provide laundry detergent, towels, shower gel and shampoo. There’s no dryer, but the large terrace is a nice place to hang clothes and relax. I was very happy with the hospitality. A few things could be better: there’s only one bathroom for everyone, not enough power outlets, and you can’t keep the keys when you go out into town. Thank you for such a warm welcome! 🙏

There were just four beds in my room, and only two were occupied, so it felt roomy. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was a washing machine with plenty of line drying space. The bathroom was adequate, if a bit cramped, which isn’t unusual.

Booking by phone was difficult, and they speak little English. The good bits: towels and shower soap, a kitchen, free use of the washing machine and space to hang clothes. But the hostel door is always open, so anyone can come in. One bed costs 20 Euros, and the loft bed wobbles a lot. I don’t think it should be rented out like that. Breakfast was instant coffee with packaged cakes and cookies.

After a few days on the camino, this place feels like a palace. The owner was really kind and helpful. You can wash clothes in the machine and hang them on the many lines, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own food.
