The place was cosy and clean, and the man who runs it was kind and gave us great service. We had a really good stay.

It's very basic, so there's not much else to say.

The tomato toast was made with prepared sauce instead of freshly grated tomato, which was disappointing. We ordered three toasts but only got one, and when we asked for the other two, the waiter answered rudely. It was an unpleasant stop along the Cares Route, with terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend stopping here.

The location worked really well for hiking and for reaching Valdeón or the Beyos area. We spent four nights here over Easter week and loved it. Our room was spotless, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was generous, with more offered if we wanted it. We also had lunch and dinner here one day, and both were excellent.
