The pool wasn't ready when we arrived in May, and then the rain came, so we never got to use it. The setting was fantastic, but we still had to call reception because the noise from the downstairs party room was so bad, even though it's supposedly been closed since 1992. The location works well for exploring the Ruidera Lakes and nearby area without being right among the lakes. Our bed also felt very small for a tall person. For a room called Deluxe, I expected more: there was no toaster or proper shower, just an old bathtub, and yellow damp marks on the ceiling.

José welcomed us so warmly, like we were family, and the service was excellent. The apartment is simple but has what you need, and the village is quiet and relaxing. It's near the Ruidera Lakes, too. My favorite part was the pool, especially its lovely cool water on hot days. We had a fantastic stay.
