CASTRO Suites Osuna

The broken bed made for a terrible night. We’d gone sightseeing and only needed the accommodation to sleep, but the mattress was sunken as soon as we arrived that afternoon. When we lifted it, we found it was broken and missing the center beam. We called the owner, who said the place was fully booked and nothing could be done. But on Monday, October 20th in Osuna, it was obvious to us that it wasn’t full: we could only hear a couple of rooms. The bed might have broken without management knowing, but after we reported that we had nowhere decent to sleep, they should have tried to find a solution or at least got involved. Instead, they ignored the problem and told us something that seemed plainly untrue. There was no empathy at all, and they left us to deal with the night ourselves.

The place matched its description and was good value. It was clean and had all the essentials, with registration and access details sent through WhatsApp. Getting there by car was easy, and from there we could walk to supermarkets, Plaza Mayor, the historic center and San Pedro Street. Highly recommended.

The location was handy for restaurants, supermarkets, the old town and the train station, while still being quiet. Our rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped, with good security and privacy. The owner and cleaning lady were both kind and attentive, and helped guide us whenever we needed it. Service was excellent, and the price seemed very reasonable for what was included. I’d definitely return.

We’ll never forget your kindness when we were stranded on the day of the blackout. Our car battery died on the way to Alicante, leaving five adults and three children with nowhere to sleep and very little food or drink. You welcomed us, and we slept so comfortably. The apartments were spacious, beautiful and spotless. Thank you so much. It’s wonderful to know there are still people like you. We’ll always remember you and Osana. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
