The tostados were the worst we’ve ever had: three tiny bits of jamon, barely any tomato, and a big price.

A handy place to stop when driving from Seville to Málaga. There’s a pump with a convenience store only 200m away. The restaurant’s fresh orange juice was good, and there are plenty of choices for breakfast or any other meal.
We came across this very typical Spanish hotel restaurant on the way from Sevilla to Malaga. It was very clean, with a separate dining area, and we liked that the menu was only in Spanish. We enjoyed gazpacho Andalusia, a stew, and fried anchovies, along with a glass of wine. Good food and service.
We stopped for a break and ended up staying for lunch, which was a nice surprise. The food was good, the portions generous, and the staff very kind.
I make a point of stopping here for breakfast on the way to Malaga. The staff are nice, the setting is pleasant, and the toilets are usually clean unless a coachload of passengers has just been through. Good coffee, decent portions, and a fair price.
