You’re only a few minutes on foot from ‘mercado de abastos’, a Michelin-holder restaurant, and the good tea lounge T&N. The owners are relaxed and respectful, and you can ask them about local places owned by descendants of several generations of ourensanos. The place is clean, roomy, fully furnished, and comfortably climatized, with a very good value for the price. There’s no need to cook, just go out for lunch and dinner and pick up something quick for breakfast in your room. Go for it, no doubt.

I wouldn’t stay here again, though I’d come back to Ourense for the prices. I was uncomfortable the whole time. There’s no kitchen, despite the woman who handed over the keys saying it was included in the apartment’s amenities. It isn’t mentioned at all, so that’s a lie. The place is surrounded by pubs, and sleeping was impossible. The earplugs they provide are useless. Cleanliness also leaves a lot to be desired. There are definitely better places to stay.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped, and I recommend staying here. We just didn’t have much time to enjoy it. It’s very central, which is good if you want to have a good time, though the noise may bother you a little. Great value for money.
