Hotel Carrís Cardenal Quevedo

Parking was the real headache. There are only two garages in the area, about 500 meters from the hotel, and their spaces are quite narrow. The hotel itself is very old, which we liked, and the rooms were very spacious and clean. Everything worked except the large toilet flush button. That didn't bother us, but we let the staff know. The price was very fair, and breakfast was really good. The lady and man were very friendly overall, though the woman at check-in was only average in friendliness and gave me the impression she'd had a bad day. Checkout went very well, and the handsome bearded man was friendly and helpful.

The balcony looked out onto an extremely ugly view, and the parking spaces were very narrow. We also had water leaking from the bathroom light fixture. The staff left us extra towels to mop it up and said maintenance wasn't there. At checkout, we raised it again and said we expected to be moved to another room, but got only a shrug and no apology. The staff did their job, but nothing more. It's an okay hotel, but not worth the price, especially with service like that.

The staff were very kind, and the hotel is right in the city center. We had a big, comfortable room, including the bathroom, and a good breakfast with juice, coffee, milk, tea, bread, fruit, pastries, and more. The parking is narrow, so take care going down.

The rooms are nicely equipped, the staff are polite, and the place is almost in the city center. Breakfast was good, too. I just don't understand the big window between the bedroom and bathroom, but, well, why not 👍
