EXE Auriense

Alex was lovely at the restaurant and took time to suggest things from a very limited menu. The property is pleasant, though it could use some upkeep. My main issue was the pool service. I understand there’s a schedule, but being told abruptly that the pool was closed, followed by “I have to leave and I have something important to do,” didn’t sit well with my family or me. How things are said matters. Zelta at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with.

The front desk clerk had a real attitude, and the breakfast looked as if it had been left out for days.

Zelta at the front desk, Alexandra at the bar and dining room, and the housekeeping team on the 3rd floor during the week of 8/12 all deserve a mention. They made my husband's birthday feel special. We did have what I’d call a little misunderstanding with the gentleman at the pool, but it didn’t stop us enjoying the property or the surroundings. The village is just outside Ourense, and the thermal pools are a 10-15 minute drive away. They’re well worth it if you want a break from everyday life in busy Ourense. Get the breakfast, you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant Cid is also nearby and has incredible food. I highly recommend the place and will definitely return.

The staff were friendly, and there’s outdoor parking on the property. Rooms were comfortable and good, and the area is very quiet. It’s a small village, but still close to town. Good value for the price 👌
