My second-floor room was pretty quiet, and I slept well. The single room was comfortable, clean, and a decent size for me. The place is close to shops, the Old Town, the Cathedral, and other sights. There's an elevator. If you arrive before check-in, you can leave your luggage inside. A room halfway up the stairs from the first floor has lockers that take a 1 euro coin, so you can go walk around before your room is ready.

The room was clean and spacious, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably. It's right in the centre of Ourense, with plenty of places to eat nearby. There isn't any staff at this hostel, and everything is handled online, but check-in went smoothly. New JJ Hostel sent us updates through booking.com and directly on WhatsApp, then we filled in the online form with our passport details and other information.

We stayed for one night last weekend and had a great experience. Our booked room's bathroom had apparently broken before we arrived, so they moved us to another lovely room with a balcony and gave us substantial compensation for the inconvenience. The rooms are bright, clean, and very comfortable, with personal touches that make them feel less clinical. Thanks for looking after us. We'd recommend it for pilgrims, tourists, business travellers, or couples on a simple getaway, and we'd gladly return.

The location makes it good value, but the stay may not be very comfortable. We could hear everything from the other rooms on our floor, as if the walls were paper thin.

We had one of the four-bed rooms. The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it's in a great spot right beside Barcelona Sants station. I'd recommend it.
