Hostal Restaurante Soborvila

That garden beside the park was such a treat, especially with the magnolias in bloom. The terrace was lovely for sitting with a drink and good company, too. I spent two years at Soborvila and the owners and their family made me feel at home from the start, always kind and attentive. The rooms had been renovated and were comfortable and spotless. The homemade food was delicious, with generous portions for a very reasonable price. I especially loved the Galician broth and the homemade flan. Friends and family who came to visit were just as happy with the service and friendly staff. Thanks so much for everything. I have a lot of fond memories and hope I can come back soon.

The place may be old, as some negative reviews point out, but I’d take good food in an older spot over bad food somewhere new. I ate well and left very satisfied. The staff were friendly, and there was plenty of parking. The home-style set menu cost €8.50, with coffee another €1.10 if you added it.

Good service and an affordable price. It’s a restaurant as well as a place to stay, and the guesthouse is pleasant. My room was small but clean, nicely decorated, and had everything I needed, including a full bathroom.

The friendly staff made me feel right at home. The restaurant and rooms have been fully renovated, and the food was excellent. My room was very comfortable, too. Great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
