For over 350 Euros for one night, I expected much better from a supposed 5 star hotel. The windows did little to block the noise, even though I’d requested a quiet room ahead of time, and breakfast was disappointing. There are far better alternatives.

The biggest problem for us was the poor sound insulation. We heard traffic outside, neighboring doors opening and closing, and even movement from the rooms above. It noticeably affected our comfort, ability to relax, and sleep. For that reason, I’d put this closer to a good four-star property than a true five-star hotel. There were good points too. The hotel is well placed for getting around Madrid and reaching the main attractions, and the staff were consistently friendly, responsive, and helpful. The restaurant served tasty food with a good range of options. The lobby and entrance make a strong first impression, though the upper floors don’t have the same five-star look and feel. Our room was about 25 square meters, adequate for two and acceptable for three at most. The furniture was functional but not especially impressive for this category. The amenities were good, housekeeping satisfactory, and the bathroom well maintained. The shower worked, and requested toiletries, towels, and other items arrived promptly. We enjoyed our stay and would consider it a comfortable, well-located choice for people who value location and service more than luxury.

We stayed with our two teens and really loved it. The rooms, service, and breakfast were all amazing, and the Metro is convenient without the area feeling too crowded or touristy. There was construction at the hotel, but we didn’t find the noise bothersome. The Level room upgrade was well worth the cost. I’d definitely recommend it!
