Duerming Velero Apartamentos

The rooms, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen were all very clean. The kitchen could use wooden spoons and a blender, though. We had a great week with our two young children. The girls made plenty of use of the play area, and the place has a very family-friendly feel. It's a quiet area with no noise, and we always found a parking space in the car park. Montalvo beach is close enough to walk to, while Portonovo and Sanxenxo are nearby for nightlife. When driving to the surrounding towns, the beach road is a good way to avoid the winding roads, though it has a little more traffic.

We had a good, peaceful stay. It was June, so maybe that's why it was quiet. The pool is small but perfectly fine, the beach is right next door, and Sanxenxo is only a few kilometres away. There's also a bakery nearby. The only downside was our ground-floor apartment facing the garden. We didn't eat outside because people were right below us by the pool.

The pool was just right for cooling off, and it and the sunbathing area were very clean and well looked after. The apartment was also remarkably clean and maintained, with everything needed for a few days away. A great choice for a short, relaxing break.

Everything else was fine, but there are a few things that could be better. There's no bar or restaurant, and reception is almost always empty. In the room there's only one proper chair for sitting and eating; the others are small, which is hard for those of us with bad backs. The TV can't be turned either. It's a simple but good hotel.
