This was our favorite hotel of the whole Camino trip. Everyone was incredibly kind, and we felt at home straight away. They really made an effort to keep us comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were included, and they happily made both vegan. There was dessert after dinner, and breakfast had vegan butter, cheese, yogurt, and milk. The hotel is about 10km from the Camino, so we arranged a taxi pickup with them. The ride from Vilaserio cost 32 euros one way, and it should be a little cheaper from Cornado. Don’t try to walk there from the Camino, though. There’s nowhere to walk along the roads.

Coffee and wine by the fire was a real highlight. I went in November, when it was wet and wild, and worried the weather would spoil things, but it didn’t. The rain did keep me from trying the local hikes, so now I have a reason to return : ) It’s a great base for exploring Galicia by car, and a clean, safe, warm place to come back to. The location is lovely, the staff are friendly, and the food is really tasty. Thanks for being patient with my Spanish :p

I had a lovely week at Casa Perfeuto María with my partner in July. The recommendations on places to visit were outstanding, and the staff and owners were amazing. We ate delicious food made with locally farmed ingredients. The rooms weren’t very big, but they had plenty of charm, and everything was spotless. The beds were really comfortable too. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making the stay unforgettable. I’d recommend it and would love to visit again.
