Paul, the owner, took such good care of everything with a personal touch. I traveled all the way from Central Portugal to stay here, and he was an unbelievable host.

The views are splendid, and the setting is so peaceful while still being very close to the city center. Our host was wonderful and welcoming, with useful sightseeing and food tips. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in Spain. I’d suggest booking through their own website and having breakfast there. Thanks for everything, and best wishes for the future.

The owner was lovely and always happy to help, and breakfast was amazing. Our room was cosy and comfortable, with great views. A marvelous, quiet spot for a few nights, and I’d recommend it to anyone coming near Oviedo.

The little terrace was a lovely place to sit with a drink or a book, looking out at the old church and the valley. It was a peaceful escape in the Asturian hills, yet Oviedo, a beautiful old town with excellent food, was still nearby. The rooms were clean and nice, breakfast was very good, and the host was especially friendly and helpful with tips on places to eat and things to see. I can only recommend El Mirador de Bendones. I’ll come back!

Fantastic surroundings, and at this time of year the air smells wonderfully wintry. Those first morning views are something else. The place has so many thoughtful details, the breakfast is great, and the people are friendly and keen to help with information. A great place.
