We’d booked for same-day check-in, and the host wrote me in madsanger that the apartment would be ready when we arrived. Instead, he said the booking had come unexpectedly and the apartment wasn’t ready, then put us in a different one that was supposedly much better. After reading the other reviews, I still can’t believe it. The place was filthy. There was hair everywhere, mold in the shower, crumbs and other dirt, plus a web and a spider. It looked as if repairs hadn’t been finished. We asked for cleaning, but the woman who came only did a quick vacuum, and even that was done badly. The host could have messaged us on booking com and asked support to cancel, or stopped accepting late bookings. We stayed only to sleep because we couldn’t find anywhere else that late. I don’t know how anyone can book it if this can happen.
