The staff were friendly and the service was great. It’s an easy walk to the city centre and old town, and parking is available for 12€ a day. Getting to the entrance can be confusing: it’s right beside the entrance doors, but you have to drive along the pedestrian path, and it’s easy to miss. Don’t drive into the bus terminal. There’s no street or traffic noise, but sound carries from the corridors and other rooms. I could hear footsteps overhead, conversations and doors shutting in the hall. For a 4 star hotel, I was surprised there was no kettle or tea and coffee in the room. The interior is a bit dated, but the stay was okay.

Her warm welcome and easy, natural way of helping guests would make her a senior manager in this hotel group. I’ve never met a nicer receptionist in any hotel, anywhere. I didn’t catch her name, but her manager will know, and that’s what matters. She’s a wonderful ambassador for the hotel group, Oviedo and Asturias. The concierge service was so kind, especially Marta. I’d love to come back because of her kindness. The hotel was very comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect!

The bathroom was clean, as was the linen, but walking into the spacious bedroom was disappointing. The carpet and walls were dirty, the furniture was worn, and there was an unpleasant smell. There were also connecting doors to what was obviously another bedroom, and we couldn’t lock them from our side. With the good reviews I’d seen, I can only wonder what happened.
