Hotel Vetusta

We stayed three nights at the beginning of June and were very impressed. The hotel and its cafe are served by the same staff, who were fantastic. Andrea was especially helpful, speaks very good English, and knows a lot. The on-site cafe was very nice. Our large, well-appointed room was excellent overall, though it could have used some drawers. The location was excellent too.

The staff were especially warm and welcoming, and the cafe downstairs serves delicious cakes, pinchos, and coffee. Our room was beautifully clean and well equipped, with a good-sized fridge and plenty of towels in the bathroom. The hotel’s location is fabulous, perfectly placed. I can’t recommend it enough!

The hotel is spotless, and the staff are lovely. I also really liked the coffee spot inside. You can walk to the main attractions and plenty of good restaurants. The Wi-Fi reaches well, but each device is capped below 1 Mbps, so you’ll need mobile data or another option if you plan to work. It’s on a busy street and the soundproofing is poor, so bring earplugs.

For the price, this was close to a five-star stay. The rooms are a good size and clean, and the location is handy for bars. There are four floors, but the lift made our top-floor room easy to reach. We appreciated having a small fridge for drinks. The ground-floor bar had lovely cakes and breakfast pastries. There’s also parking about a three-minute walk away, I think just over €10 for 24 hours, with unlimited coming and going.
