Even though we were among the last people to arrive, the gentleman at the albergue greeted us warmly, explained everything, made up our beds, and really wanted everyone to feel at ease after a long walk. Everything looked new and was spacious, very clean, and well equipped. We could do laundry there, and the coin exchange machine came in handy. The place is in the city center, and the early checkout is a good nudge to get moving and reach Santiago on time. Thanks for a great stay on our Caminho Português! :)

The albergue is right on the Camino, near the church, city center, restaurants, and riverfront. Reception was helpful and kindly moved me to a lower bunk. There are lockers for your things, sheets are provided, and the showers are good, with regular taps instead of auto-timer nozzles. Laundry was the one tricky part. There’s no outdoor clothesline to use the sun or breeze, so I paid for a dryer cycle to make sure my clothes weren’t left damp.

Raul welcomed us so kindly, and the place was clean. The showers were fantastic, and I even got a blanket for free.

The beds were cozy, and the place was super clean, with shops and restaurants nearby. It was a really good final stop on my Camino de Santiago. The best part was the guy at the front desk, though. He was friendly every time, happy to help, and very professional.
