It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and good value for the price. The rooms have a rustic feel, but everything worked well, and I got a great rest before the final walk to Santiago de Compostela. I stayed 26-27 April. I left a sentimental polo shirt behind by accident, then came back the next day and the staff had kindly found it for me. I really appreciated their honesty and care. Lunch next door was nice too, with complimentary mushroom soup, good Galician soup, tenderloin, and cake. The French owner and her Spanish husband were warmly welcoming. A simple, peaceful stay I’ll remember.

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice and clean, and I slept well. The room was a little dated, but it was charming and very clean. It’s close to a Dia Supermarket, and the person at reception was very nice. I booked a double bed room and didn’t try the restaurant. I could hear my noisy neighbors talking, though luckily they went to sleep early. It’s a good value if you want a private room to rest in Padrón. It isn’t a place for meeting people and doesn’t have an albergue atmosphere. I’d recommend it. Buon Camino 😊

We were there in 2017, and the rooms have been updated since then. They still use wool blankets like in the 70s. Our room was spotless, and we didn’t see any bedbugs like Mr Visser mentioned in his review. Breakfast was simple, but fine.

We enjoyed our stay in Padron. The location was good, and the room was nicely decorated. But the older lady at the front desk was nasty. She made rude comments during check-in and when we later asked about food and places nearby. I wouldn’t call this pilgrim-friendly.
