HSM S'Olivera

The apartment was a good size, and we were happy with it for our week away with our son. The female waiters were especially attentive to him, and we could tell he really enjoyed that. We were very pleased with the staff. Breakfast was lovely, but dinner was disappointing: some days it was okay, most days it wasn't. The big problem was the air conditioning. It wasn't broken, since we could feel cold air and hear it running, but it never cooled the room. Even set to 10 degrees, the room stayed at 27, so we bought a table fan to sleep at night. At the price we paid, we expected much better. It clearly seemed very old. A good stay overall, but please fix the air conditioning!

The rooms were clean, and the hotel itself was nice. Breakfast had a good range of choices. Dinner, though, was a major letdown, and I strongly suggest avoiding half board. With so many high-quality local ingredients available, it was unbelievable how badly the meal was prepared. A real disaster.

We spent three nights in the apartment section with our family and had a pleasant stay. The reception team were genuinely friendly and helpful, especially Marga. Both breakfast and dinner at the buffet were great. The restaurant servers were warm, welcoming, and professional too. I'd highly recommend it for families with children.

The location works really well for exploring Peguera, and there's a nearby bus stop with services to Palma and the airport. The pool was private, well maintained, and had enough loungers. Laundry service was quite expensive, but there's a good laundromat close by. We had a clean apartment with friendly service and good air conditioning. Getting a high chair for our baby from reception was surprisingly difficult, even though the hotel advertises them for rent. Half board is affordable and a good deal, with excellent food and plenty of restaurant choices. The serving staff were amazing and great with children.
