Aldiana Club Fuerteventura

The room had a lovely view, and the service from every department was great and friendly.

Our 3 month old was extremely upset after we mistimed his meals while driving around the island. This hotel was the first place we came across, so we asked if there was somewhere we could give him his bottle and offered to pay for a drink. They said no because we weren’t guests. At the staff’s direction, we made the bottle in a toilet and sat down to feed him. Then they called security to escort us off the premises. At least the guard understood the situation and gave us 5 minutes to finish. Some people working in hospitality seem to have no idea what hospitality means.

We’re staying at the neighboring hotel, and Aldiana’s noise is really bothering us. They play music loudly every night from around 22:00 until after midnight. I can only imagine how unbearable it must be right there on their grounds. Avoid this place if you want quiet evenings.

Christina in Guest Services was amazing and very professional. She helped sort everything out for us, 5/5 stars. The hotel itself is nice, the restaurant staff are super friendly, and the reception team are really nice too, especially the short-haired woman who’s worked here for years. Our flight was delayed because of snow in Munich, and Aldiana was no help at all. We had to handle the problem ourselves. The Club Manager didn’t know what was happening and said they couldn’t tell us anything. She came across as totally arrogant and useless, and ruined our impression of Aldiana as a brand. We’ve been here twice, but we’ll NEVER book this brand again. We were hugely disappointed by the customer service, especially being stranded on an island without help from our tour operator. Aldiana isn’t as powerful as TUI, for example, and doesn’t own planes. Communication between them and their operations teams is very poor. That process let us down, so I wouldn’t recommend booking with them. Better to stick with bigger brands like Robinson or Magic Life.
