The hotel was a pleasant surprise after some worrying reviews. Staff were great, the bar was quick, and there was always a seat by the small pool. Drinks were good, and although the all-inclusive choices were limited, the food tasted good and we both found things we liked. The airport transfer felt like it took seven years, though it was two hours. The rooms could use an update, and not having air conditioning was an issue. Still, we had a really enjoyable stay and hated having to leave.

The location was the one real plus. We wouldn't recommend staying here if you expect an enjoyable all-inclusive food experience. Meals were always cold, choices were very limited, and much of it seemed to be reheated frozen food. We saw people relying on bread, potatoes, and fries because the other options were so bad. There weren't even basic things many people eat across all three meals. People often left their plates empty, looking disgusted. We were served a piece of pork that was still partly raw, which is dangerous. Leftovers from the New Year's dinner appeared again the next day. The ice cream machine dispensed slime, and anything chocolate-flavoured tasted like plastic. Labels were confusing, and only shown on one side although dishes were set out on both. Other reviews had raised this and the hotel acknowledged it, but apparently nothing changed. The rooms were okay, though old and in need of renovation. Blankets stored in plastic bags in the wardrobe smelled very old and bad, and definitely didn't seem washed. The kitchen and dishes were dirty. The walls are thin enough that you hear everyone, making it hard to sleep at night. The hotel also uses ChatGPT to answer reviews, which is easy to spot. They claim to act on negative feedback, but nobody seems to take any steps. It feels like complete disregard. The location is good, and that's about it.

The beach at Morro Jable is right across the road, and the island itself is incredible. We preferred the beach to the pools, which looked smaller than in the photos. Just be aware that many people on the beach are naturists, mostly elderly, which might come as a surprise if you're not used to it. We had a good holiday in Fuerteventura overall, though the start was difficult. We arrived around 9pm on 3 November after a long transfer, checked in quickly, and got ground-floor room 203A. It was simple but fine for the price, with two single beds pushed together, a sofa, TV, air conditioning, bathroom, and outdoor seating area with a clothes dryer facing the road and some plants. The real problem was cockroaches. We found three large ones in the room on the first night. Reception offered spray when I reported it. We tried to handle it, but the next night there were more, including two on the bed, which really stressed us out. When we asked to move, we were told to wait until morning. A different receptionist and the manager helped us the next day, moving us to room 114 on a higher floor. After that, the insects were completely gone, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay much more. The food and drinks were actually very good for such a low-priced all-inclusive. The restaurant and bar staff were consistently friendly and professional. We weren't given our all-inclusive wristbands at check-in, but the restaurant team kindly said after dinner that we could collect them at reception. That was no problem. Ground-floor rooms do need better insect control.

The beach is just across the road, lovely for a walk, and the nearby shops are good for bargain hunting. There's also a weekly market next door, so don't be shy about haggling. The hotel was nice and really clean. The maintenance man was out cleaning the pool and tidying from early morning until late evening. The lifeguard could relax a little and smile more. Food was okay if you're happy with garlic in the rice, fish, and even breakfast sausages. There wasn't much entertainment. Poolside music ended at 4pm and the pool shut at 6pm. Some nights there was music from the bar, but it was the same playlist playing over and over. Staff were great.

The location helped save our holiday. We found good local food and things to do within walking distance. I'd recommend Dock Grill and Waikiki on the beachfront. The rooms are a good size and basic, and they cover what you need, but we repeatedly had trouble getting in. Once, we think the door had been tampered with: plastic was smashed across the floor. We had to leave the room unlocked all day and night while it was repaired, with all our belongings inside. Key cards needed resetting repeatedly, and other guests seemed to have the same problem. Our room was cleaned only once during the week, and towels weren't replaced until I asked reception for clean ones. Love Holidays advertised air conditioning, and I have a screenshot, but the rooms don't have it. They charge a non-refundable €2.50 per night for fans that are about as useful as someone blowing on you all night. In my opinion, keeping the deposit is disgusting. Service was terrible apart from one young receptionist, Noah, a barman whose name I didn't get, and the entertainment man. They were far too good for this hotel. Most of the others were rude and uninterested. A female member of staff behind the pool bar even told me to be quiet while I was laughing with another British guest. Being told to be quiet on holiday completely stunned me. Kids aren't allowed floats or balls in the pool because of earlier guest complaints. The friendly staff I spoke with agreed it was a joke. I definitely won't return. They don't cater for English guests, don't seem interested in them, and we felt in the minority. If you're English, I really wouldn't recommend it.
