The food was consistently good, with lots of choice, and the fish was especially delicious. I was impressed that still and sparkling water were available free throughout the hotel. The young animation team put on good evening entertainment and deserve full marks 🥇 The hotel was warm, bright, and spotless. The staff were magnificent, kind, and patient. When I found the mattress too hard, they quickly arranged a topper that worked really well.

The drinks were our biggest disappointment. Most cocktails came from a machine, so they tasted artificial and low quality, well below what we’d expect from a four-star hotel. We really missed freshly made cocktails. Otherwise, the food was good and fairly varied for an all-inclusive resort, though it sometimes got a bit cold near the end of lunch. The pools and outdoor areas were highlights, kept in great condition, and the rooms were comfortable and very clean throughout. It’s a relaxing hotel in a great location with direct access to the beach. The animation team was friendly and did a good job with daytime activities and evening shows. Staff were generally polite, attentive, and professional. At times the bars and restaurants seemed short staffed for the workload, which felt like a management issue rather than a lack of effort from employees. Service was good overall, especially at reception. Special thanks to Alondra, who went well beyond what we’d normally expect in helping with personal requests. It made a real difference.

The staff were nice, one of the few bright spots. But this was an honest three-star experience to me, not four-star. The food was average and the choices limited. We couldn’t use the small indoor pool without paying 20 euros for 2 hours. It had a little jacuzzi, but didn’t look inviting. For a resort, having to pay extra for the indoor pool is the biggest drawback. Spa treatments costing extra makes sense, but I don’t think the pool should be treated that way. Even my local gym has an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. There were other charges too. You pay 20 euro to use the room locker. Whether you book half board or all inclusive, you only get one free beach towel change, then it’s 2 euros each time. The only way to get more changes included is to pay extra for “privilege,” which feels like a joke. The beach is close, but it was super windy during our stay, so we couldn’t enjoy the sea. Nobody can control that, but consider the chance of strong winds here. If the weather is bad, there isn’t much to do, since the indoor pool costs extra. I won’t return. I’ve had much better stays elsewhere for the same money.

Celia, who worked at both the entertainment bar and pool bar, really stood out. Her attitude, service, and energy made the stay more memorable. The rest of the staff were great too. We’ve already decided to choose H10 hotels on future trips to the Canary Islands. H10 Tindaya exceeded what we expected from the first day. The quality, service, food, and fantastic location were all impressive, and it’s hard to find anything to complain about. The good points outweigh any little drawbacks. I’d say it deserves five stars rather than four. Compared with other hotels we’ve stayed in, the value is incredible. If anything, they could charge more, which isn’t something people usually say. Highly recommended!
