Hotel Riu Palace Jandia

The food was phenomenal, and our clean room had a truly impressive ocean view. It’s also easy to get to the beach from here. The location works well for different activities, with good connections and car rental options nearby. Staff were kind, friendly, and always ready with helpful advice.

We had a great stay for the food, hotel, and service, but getting to the beach was a real drawback. The hotel sits on a hillside, and reaching the beach means using two different lifts and tackling lots of stairs. TUI should have been clearer about the mobility demands, as my wife can’t walk far. There aren’t many local bars or restaurants either, so you need a taxi.

The rooms were very good, the service was good, and everything was very clean. There was a wide choice of food and drinks, too. Once again, RIU didn’t disappoint. A short holiday isn’t long enough to remember everyone’s name, but special thanks for their kindness and service to Angel, Nadine, Daniel, and Lisi. Most people staying at Riu Palace Jandia seemed to have been before, and I can see why. I hope I can come back one day for a longer stay. Thank you all!

The desserts were a highlight for me, and my son loved the ice cream. The food was delicious and changed from night to night, though choices could be limited for someone like me with dietary restrictions. Once, the food labels weren’t clear, but the chef explained which dishes had pork so I could avoid them. This was our second stay, and I’m so glad we chose the hotel again. Staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Carla, who runs the children’s activities, and the waiting staff. One waiter in particular made our three-year-old excited to come to dinner every night. We had a sea view room, which I’d recommend, and it was always cleaned to a very high standard. We had no room problems. I also loved the facilities and how close the hotel is to the beautiful beach, though all those steps mean you need to be physically fit. We’ll definitely come back. The town is quiet, which suits us, and the hotel has everything we need. Thanks for the hospitality, Riu Palace Jandia ❤️.
