Villas Monte Solana

The villas are in a peaceful location, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. They’ve been our regular place for summer holidays for years, and we plan to keep coming back. The interiors have had renovations in recent years, including the WiFi, paint, furniture, kitchen, and bathroom, bringing them back up to standard after years of use. Adding air conditioning in the bedrooms this year made the stay even better.

Our week here in January had some nice features: the rooms were extra large, the balconies were private, and the ocean views were great. The pool was open, and we could walk to both the beach and grocery store. Sadly, the hot tub and saunas weren't available while we were there.

We loved the spectacular views and the privacy, and the villas are close to shops and other amenities. You can hear the waves at night, which shows how close we were to the main beach and roads. The walk back up the hill to the villa was tough in the hot weather with a buggy and shopping, though taxis were easy enough to find. The pool was open whenever we wanted, but the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room closed at 2 pm. Afternoon use cost extra and needed to be arranged in advance, which didn't suit our day-to-day plans. The villa was clean, as were the local restaurants, though I saw one cockroach in the downstairs shower room during our 10 days. We appreciated the bottle of Cava on arrival. We'd recommend staying here and might return.

There’s plenty of room, and the apartment is well equipped. Supermarkets are walkable, with taxis available near most of them. Getting around could be difficult if you have mobility issues, as the property has lots of stairs and the beach is also a bit of a walk.
