Camping Palamós

It's okay overall, and the staff are friendly. The toilets and showers are fine, with soap dispensers and toilet paper, though the place could use some more cleaning. Nights were very loud because the night guards talked to each other loudly for hours, sometimes shouting to be heard.

The side facing the sea has fabulous views, and it was peaceful where we stayed. There's a lovely restaurant alongside. Staff and management were helpful and friendly, and Palamos is an easy walk away. It's a lovely town to visit, with great shops and restaurants. What a great campsite.

There's a lot to like here: the pitches are flat and shaded, the restaurant has good food options, and the clean toilets and showers are plentiful, so we never queued. It's also within walking distance of town and has access to its own private cala. It's one of the best campsites I've been to. I only held back a star because campers don't have a kitchen area to use, though that's not very common in Spain anyway. Highly recommended.

In the summer, when it's open, the bar serves a fresh, tasty three-course meal for 12 euros. Nothing fancy, just a great place to eat. Service is good, and you can sit outside under the pine trees.
