Hotel Marina

The hotel and restaurant staff were attentive, and the restaurant served a fantastic seafood paella and fish dishes. We had a very pleasant three-night stay. There was one awkward part, though: twice, a young woman told us to leave the indoor restaurant and sit on the terrace, even though it was half empty. She only stopped after we said we were staying at the hotel. Everyone else welcomed us wherever we went, so it was a shame to have both dinners start that way.

We were warmly welcomed, and the hotel gave us a safe, secure place to keep our bikes. The rooms were spotless. We also loved the location by the marina, with lots of beach-front restaurants nearby. A very satisfying one-night stay.

We ate dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was excellent as well, with lots to choose from and the buffet restocked regularly. Our room and ensuite were spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel had a lovely, friendly feel.

The restaurant was good value, and in the end we had a good experience. But the first room was dusty, with two or three bugs crawling around and hair on the shower tray. They moved us to another room right away. I’d booked directly and expected a little more generosity on the room rate, but they didn’t seem interested. When I worked at a hotel in BCN, we used to offer small discounts for direct bookings, so I’d hoped for something similar. Cleaning could be better.
