Set in a natural park, this farm feels wonderfully peaceful at night. It’s the only habitable place within 3 km, which adds to the quiet, and sleeping under the stars was absolutely comfortable. There’s a 13th-century history here, cows on the farm, and a scent that brought the Pasiego valleys of Burgos and Cantabria to mind. The owners are incredibly kind, and the facilities and amenities are excellent. Free parking, fresh air, peace, and well-being all added up to guaranteed rest.

Casa Rural Mas la Torre was a lovely place to recharge during our five nights in the countryside, surrounded by cows and nature. The quiet let us relax and enjoy the region. The owners gave us a simple, friendly welcome and were attentive and available throughout our stay, which made a big difference to our comfort. Roses and Empuriabrava are nearby, with options for beaches, boat trips, local markets, sightseeing, and cultural discoveries. Prices at Casa Rurale Mas la Torre were quite reasonable out of season, and the value for money was excellent. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, authentic stay in the area. We went home refreshed and relaxed, with wonderful memories. Thanks to the whole team for their warm welcome and professionalism.

The worn mattresses were a bit of an issue for me as a sensitive sleeper, so I bought a mattress topper and then slept well. The owner said they’d be replaced soon. Even so, we felt very welcome, and making our own lunch in the shared kitchen was lovely. The place is fantastic for a peaceful vacation, and cycling nearby is wonderful. I’d love to come back.

The room up in the tower was great, with balconies and everything. We also had a nice conversation with the owner, who’s a great cowkeeper, and the breakfast waitress was very attentive.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was decent, too. The welcome was very understated, but I’d recommend it for a weekend getaway.
