Hotel Son Caliu Spa Oasis

The people made our stay at Hotel Son Caliu Spa Oasis. Juan Martín and Carmen in the restaurant brought so much care, passion and attention to detail to every meal. Melanie at reception also stood out. She showed a real interest in guests, anticipated what they might need and took initiative. She’d be an excellent fit for a Head of Guest Relations role. The hotel itself has a comfortable, elegant feel and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere, with thoughtful design throughout. Most of the team did a great job, though staff consistency could still improve. It was a 10/10 stay for us, and we’d gladly return. If you want a hotel where people genuinely care about your experience, this is it.

The hotel is clean and well looked after, with pleasant surroundings and tasteful decor. The front desk and service teams were consistently warm, welcoming and professional. Restaurant staff were friendly as well. Still, one restaurant manager, a man in a suit, made a poor impression. In both the mornings and evenings, his manner felt cold and unwelcoming, which affected our meals and how we felt about the hotel. Restaurant management should show the same basic hospitality and professionalism as the rest of the team.

The staff were really lovely, and there was plenty of good food to choose from. Vegan options were limited, but there were some. I was sorry to hear the dinner buffet is no longer available. Cava at breakfast was a winning touch for me. The pool is great for family time, though families are limited to two sessions of two hours a day. Too many adult men were sitting by or in the pool without children, which made us uncomfortable. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, and works well for couples, families and friends.

A peaceful, relaxing place for a holiday. The rooms were quiet and clean, the staff were welcoming, and breakfast was amazing and really complete. I loved my stay here and recommend it.
