The pod bunks were comfier and cosier than I expected, with enough privacy to get a proper night's rest. Everything was spotless and well kept, and the location is ideal for anyone passing through on the Camino. The host was so warm, friendly, and helpful from the moment I arrived. I felt right at home and would happily stay again.

It’s a peaceful place right in the busy city, and the staff are really, really kind. The bunks have power and give you privacy, the kitchen has what you need, and doing laundry is easy. Everything runs efficiently. A great stay.

The manager was very friendly and helpful, and the hostel is well equipped and run. It's right on the Camino with plenty of places to eat nearby. My bunk cubicle felt a little hot at first, though it seemed to cool down later.

Eduardo welcomed me at Casa Ibarrola with lots of friendliness and directions for where to eat and how to get there. The pods are comfortable, and it looked to me like the lines get done daily. In a shared space you will hear people moving around, so earplugs should help. The showers were okay, though with so many people using them each week, bring sandals. I'd stay again.

The man running the hostel is great, and it feels quiet and homelike, with plenty of room to rest. They have what you need, including hot showers and laundry. The airport is a 15-minute drive and costs 20e. I'd recommend staying here before heading to St Jean. Get your bus ticket from the terminal as soon as possible, though, or a taxi costs 150e.
