The room itself was good, but the service was bad. I booked because the hotel had air conditioning. At the end of September, the room was around 27 degrees in the afternoon, so I called customer service and asked them to switch the AC to cooling. The answer was that the building had changed to heating mode the week before, and cooling wouldn’t be available again until next spring. There was no fan either, and when I asked for one, they said none were available. I asked what would happen if the temperature kept rising, and they said the building still wouldn’t switch back. That seems ridiculous, especially if it gets above 30 degrees. It wasn’t just me who felt this way; other customers felt the same. It seems they follow the rule without caring about how guests feel or what the weather is actually like.

I was very disappointed by the customer service. The temperature was 28°C today, and I called four times asking them to turn on the air conditioning, which was one of the main reasons I booked here. They refused, explaining that the central AC wasn’t available because the weather had been cold the previous week. I also asked for a fan, but they said I could only get one tomorrow. I’m checking out tomorrow, so that doesn’t help at all. This was unreasonable and unacceptable service.

We had wonderful views of the square, with fab restaurants and cafés close by. The apartment was great, in a wonderful location, and pet friendly too. Maybe an extra pillow on the bed would make it just perfect. I was surprised the roof terrace was closed, especially over the weekend. It would be nice if it opened more often. Next time!

The location was nice, and the room was clean, modern, and well equipped. Everything else was very nice, though the digital service didn’t suit us, as we’re a slightly conservative but not demanding couple. It would also be better if daily cleaning were included :)
