Apartamentos Rurales La Bardenilla

The rooms were nicely equipped and pleasant. We got by just fine with the cooking setup, though I would have preferred it to be a bit better.

We were sorry to leave the city behind again after such a lovely week in the village of Siejo and nearby Panes. The apartment was clean, lovely, and had fantastic views. It’s a great area with kids, with lots to do, a river, and a cable car station for getting to beaches and towns. We loved it and would come back.

Rosa and Benito were such generous, kind hosts, and the Molino de Benito and Jardin de Rosa are well worth seeing. Our apartment was spacious, clean, and very well equipped, in a stunning mountain and valley setting that’s perfect for switching off. Playa de la Franca is one of Asturias’s best beaches, and only 15 minutes away. The village has a few places to eat, with generous portions at very good prices. Unforgettable holiday in Asturias. We’d recommend it completely and will return!

I keep coming back to Siejo and Panes. The locals are welcoming, there’s so much to see nearby, and the area has all you need for a few relaxing days in beautiful Asturias. I spent a few days at La Bardenilla at the end of June 2024, in the one-bedroom apartment. It was quiet, peaceful, very clean, and comfortable. The lovely garden was a great spot to sunbathe or read while listening to the birds. Nuria and the owners were incredibly kind and helpful. I can only recommend it, and I’ll be back :-)
