The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the golf course looked like fun. The spa itself was great, though I found its required shower caps, flip flops, and robes a bit inconvenient. The rooms were on the small side, and getting in and out of the tub-shower combination was awkward. I’d give the hotel four stars, mainly because of the spa experience. It’s a nice place to stay, with a few small drawbacks.

I’ve stayed at this spa twice, first in 2019 and again in December 2021, and both visits were wonderful. It’s peaceful, with hardly any houses nearby, just the golf club run by the hotel, so there’s little noise. The facilities, rooms, restaurant, and spa were all clean and in great shape. I especially like the spa’s outdoor pool, which you reach by swimming through from inside. Treatments are well priced, and the spa staff are kind and professional. There are good places nearby to explore, including Monforte de Lemos, about 15 minutes away by car, Ourense at around 40 minutes, and Lugo about an hour away. I also highly recommend the trail to the beautiful waterfall at "Fervenza de Augacaida". I’ll come back to enjoy the peace and quiet again.

The pools were warm and so inviting. Gorgeous setting and great accommodations.

If you’re visiting the area, this is a lovely base, with spectacular scenery all around and beautiful rooms that were clean and comfortable. The hotel is close to the Parada de Sil and has both indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool works as a kind of spa. It’s also very affordable, so I’d definitely recommend it.

Stopped in for a quick meal and to ask about playing golf. The burger was cheap and nasty, not something I’d feed my dogs, and the staff were unbelievably unhelpful about using the course. A pointless visit.
