I didn’t stay at the hotel, just came to eat at the restaurant, which I highly recommend. The food was delicious, especially the best tortilla and sea fruits. Service was great, and the girl at the bar was super friendly and nice to us.

We chose four set menus at €17 each and were pleasantly surprised by how generous the portions were and how good the food was. The service was friendly, and the whole lunch felt welcoming and authentic. O Balcón da Ribeira is a charming restaurant in a traditional stone house in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra. The setting is picturesque and full of character, and makes this a good place to stop for a meal while exploring the area.

Yolanda gave us a warm welcome and took great care of us. In an area of exceptional beauty, the place is also very good value. It was impressive to see how hard she worked to look after both local guests and tourists. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel and restaurant sit in beautiful surroundings, with great hiking routes starting or ending right by the hotel. Prices are very reasonable, and we enjoyed the food and wine. This was a great find!

The restaurant serves good quality food, but it’s a pity the kitchen closes at 10pm, especially for Spain. I didn’t stay at the hotel.
