Cal Sastre

Those morning walks in the hills were a highlight, and the garden gave our two little ones room to run around with incredible views over the Pardines valley. Cal Sastre cabin is simple but has a lovely open kitchen with everything we needed, plus a cozy living room looking out toward the countryside and mountains. The beds and sofa were really comfortable. Nita gave us such a warm welcome and was very hospitable. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon.

We spent the weekend with the fireplace going, and there wasn't any smoke. The house is clean, cozy, and has everything you need, including the option to connect rooms. It works really well for families with children. The surrounding area is beautiful for walks and spending time in nature. We'll be back.

The paths around the house are enough to keep you walking until you're tired. We did the 30-minute walk to Pardines for coffee and then headed back to our little house. Nita is so kind and has everything ready when you arrive, and she'll answer any questions you have. She's an adorable host. Inside, I especially love the two sofas facing the mountains. I'm always looking for a place with good sofas because so many are uncomfortable or wooden, and I like to lie down on one. The smart TV is another much appreciated touch, with YouTube, Netflix and your favorite shows. You really don't need to leave once you're there. It's a delightful place for families with kids, or for couples who want to unwind and recharge. The house is beautiful and comfortable, and we sleep wonderfully there. Those windows in the living room looking onto the mountains are special. It's so quiet, with just birdsong and peaceful nights. I never get tired of coming to Cal Sastre. 10 out of 10 for the house and for Nita!

We had a fantastic week at the Cabanya de Cal Sastre. The natural setting is so peaceful, and there are lots of possible excursions. The cleanliness gets a 10, as does Anna's treatment. I also met some good people there. In general, a 10. We'll go again.
