The location, surrounded by nature, made this a wonderful retreat. We stayed for over a week, and everything was kept clean and to a very high standard. The rooms were spotless, and the service was excellent. It felt like staying at a five-star hotel for a fraction of the price. Thanks for the warm welcome and all the thoughtful details. We’ll be back. Booking early is a good idea, since they’re often very busy.

Mari Luz, who manages the house, was so kind and attentive during our stay. We spent four days there with the friends we’ve been gathering for our “Autumn Camp” for more than 25 years, and everyone loved it. The house was clean, roomy, and beautifully decorated in a mix of styles when we arrived. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, with another by the entrance. There was a living room and kitchen where we could all sit around the table, comfortable mattresses, and bathrooms stocked with everything we needed. They canceled our group booking after confirming it and taking the required payment, saying it was due to “overbooking.” Don’t assume a reservation is secure, since they may cancel it at any time.

Two weeks after confirming our reservation and arranging everything, they called to cancel it, blaming “overbooking.” I’ve never had this happen before, and I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but canceling a confirmed booking like that feels unprofessional. If they were already overbooked, I shouldn’t have been able to book and would have looked elsewhere.
