For 50 Euro in December, this was fantastic value. Hostal Rural Moratin is in a medieval building about a block from the Plaza and Palace. It has been beautifully renovated, the beds are comfortable, and it looked as if there was a restaurant, though we didn’t go. The hotel was spotless. It is very noisy, however: we could hear TVs, conversations, window blinds being lowered, and door locks from a room or more away. Even so, we’d stay again for the price and cleanliness. I’d rate it 4.5.

A quiet spot for a simple meal. The salad was delicious, and so was the pork knuckle, full of flavor, though the portion wasn’t large. All the desserts were wonderful. The restaurant and restrooms were spotless. Recommended. The Saturday set menu costs €25.

The rooms aren’t especially big, but they’re very cozy, and the temperature was just right. The staff were lovely and the cleanliness impeccable. We were delighted and will definitely come back. 100% recommend it!
