B&B HOTEL Madrid Vallecas La Gavia

Friendly, helpful staff sorted out my request, and the place was nice and clean. It’s a good budget hotel. The centre is a bit far, but the nearest metro is only a 10-minute walk away. Highly recommended.

I had a booking here, but the ongoing issues in the Middle East left me stranded in Bangkok. Well before my booking, I contacted the hotel to ask to cancel because of circumstances completely outside my control. I was very disappointed that they didn’t even reply to my first message. When they eventually responded, the communication still wasn’t transparent. Their disinterest and lack of empathy toward a guest stranded abroad showed me their level of care. The communication was shocking and completely unprofessional. I’d strongly recommend finding somewhere else to stay.

On May 13, 2026, the alarm went off three times, starting at midnight. There’s another review from February describing the same thing, but hotel staff took no action that day. The receptionist just told me he’d called the alarm provider, saying that was all he could do. No apology or compassion for the guests. I don’t speak Spanish, or I would have called the police by now. We have an early flight, and after a sleepless night I’ll be demanding a full refund. We’re also at risk of missing it. Madrid public transport is hard enough to navigate without this stress. I can’t imagine how parents with children or elderly guests are getting through the night. Avoid this particular location. It’s been my worst experience at a B&B hotel.

We’ve stayed at a BB Hotel once before, so this was our second time. I’m very happy with the room quality and the excellent service overall. Definitely a great recommendation if you’re travelling to Madrid!
