Hotel Posadas de España Paterna

I called on the day I arrived to say I’d be late for check-in, though I wasn’t sure when because I was visiting family. A receptionist told me it was fine since the lobby was open 24 hours. But when I arrived, a different receptionist, Laura, was very rude and said nothing could be done, ignoring what I’d discussed with the other staff. She said all the rooms were sold out, even though I checked booking.com and saw availability. I left late that night for another location, since I had somewhere to stay. The service was very poor, and the hotel staff seem to miscommunicate.

The room was clean, service was good, and the price was reasonable.

The shower pressure was great, but watch out, the tubs are VERY slippery. The restaurant downstairs serves food from 8:30pm, and you can take it up to your room. The options were decent and reasonably priced. It was a nice room for one night, though the beds weren’t very comfortable. My son’s extra bed was comfier than the two single beds my husband and I had, which were pushed close together but still made up separately.

There was a blanket in the wardrobe. The room was clean and a bit old fashioned, but okay. My three stars are for the lack of plugs: there were only two for charging devices, so it’s a good idea to bring USB hubs.
