Puentes del Cega

We’ve stayed here twice, most recently last weekend, and we’ll definitely come back. Salva and Vicky are amazing and always make us feel at ease. It’s a peaceful, wonderful place to unwind, the breakfasts are fantastic, and my children are always excited to go.

We’ve already been five times, and we’re sure to return. The value for money is incredible, and Salva and Vicky, the owners for just over a year, are attentive, dedicated, and friendly. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, and they follow a strict COVID-19 safety protocol. Breakfast deserves 20 out of 10. There’s loads to choose from, including gluten-free options, and it’s all delicious. Vicky often makes homemade treats like brioche and different cakes, with sweet and savory choices for everyone. You can hike and sightsee around the area, with plenty of routes. Salva is happy to explain them. Pedraza is right nearby and looks like a fairytale, and there are some really cool caves to explore too. About 150 meters from the hotel, La Farola serves a feast. I recommend the cured beef and leek croquettes, black pudding scramble, oxtail stew, and lamb chops. The meat is definitely top quality. We highly recommend staying here!

The setting is unique and the atmosphere is lovely. Salva and Vicky gave great service, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was spectacular, varied, homemade, and beautifully presented. We’ll definitely come again!

The place is great to stay at, though it’s currently closed. The people who ran it were wonderful, so friendly and kind!
