We were really disappointed by how this stay was handled. Cockroaches kept appearing in the kitchen every day, and there were lots of them. We think they may have been getting in through the extractor fan. No solution or alternative was offered, so with nowhere else available, we stayed and avoided the kitchen, used insecticide, and ate every meal out with our two small children. They also refused our request for a price reduction. This was our second visit. The house itself is fine, but several things we had reported to the manager after the first year still hadn't been fixed: the extractor fan was loose, the bathroom door wouldn't close, the lighting was poor with bulbs burned out, and the refrigerator made ice. We managed the first stay despite those problems, but returning to find them unchanged, along with the infestation, left us very unhappy with the service. We don't like leaving negative reviews, but this was a very disappointing experience.

We came to visit a nearby cattle farm and arrived later than planned. The owner greeted us warmly anyway and showed us around the whole house. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable, and downstairs there's a big living room plus a well-equipped kitchen with the appliances and cooking utensils you need. The house is spacious and comfortable, and the owner's hospitality made the stay. Highly recommended.

The price felt just a little high, though only by a bit. It's a nice place to relax, with a homely sort of service. It could use some improvements, and might work especially well for a group larger than two.

Such a big, lovely house, and it was really clean and well located. We’ll definitely come back.
