We arrived at the door on July 19th for our July 19th to 21st reservation and called the owners for the keys. They sent us to their hotel to pick them up, then said there was a reservation problem and someone else was already in the house. Their alternative was two hotel rooms for two nights at a higher price. We turned that down and asked for a complaint form. The hotel owner physically and verbally assaulted one of my friends, then refused to give us the forms. When he finally stopped and handed them over, one copy was invalid and he snatched the rest away. We'd booked through Booking.com because the house was listed on several sites, but the dates hadn't been updated elsewhere. Beforehand, I’d contacted the owners and they assured me the reservation was in my name and nobody else could book those dates. Given their mistake, they should have found us a free house of the same or better quality, or at least offered the same price to make up for the trouble. We've reported them and taken the complaint form to the consumer protection agency. I don't recommend the place. Thankfully, Booking.com handled everything without a fuss and apologized for the owners' rudeness.

A chair nearly caused a serious accident when my friend sat on it and the seat sank in. Luckily, she wasn't hurt. The house was also far too dirty: dust even on the floor, no broom to be found, spiders in the bathtub and inside the beds, and stains of unknown origin on the sheets. We needed somewhere for six people and booked this rural house, which is advertised as suitable for six, but there wasn't enough kitchenware. It was in poor repair too, with broken faucets, lamps and furniture, plus a window “fixed” with duct tape. To show your ID, they make you travel to a town 5 km away rather than coming to collect it. Not recommended at all.

We didn't go ahead with the reservation because the price they quoted didn't match the website, but they charged our card anyway after asking for its number. The person in charge says she can't take responsibility because she doesn't remember anything. We've filed a complaint. BEWARE!!!

Scam. Don't give them your card number, even if you decide not to book, because they'll charge you anyway. I've filed a complaint.
