We were a family group of nine, including young children, and had planned to spend Christmas at the apartments. The day before we were due to arrive, the owner called to explain that heavy snow could affect the house and the area. She was upfront that the conditions might make the trip stressful, and offered to cancel with a full refund. The snowfall was outside anyone's control, but she handled it with real kindness and honesty. We'd love to come back another time, hopefully in better weather :)

The setting is lovely if you want somewhere to slow down and recharge with family. We spent a week in the charming, rustic apartment and felt at home. It was clean and had everything we needed. Sara was wonderful, checking in on us and sending suggestions for routes, schedules, and local sights. I'd recommend both the house and the area, and we'd happily return. Thanks for everything, Sara!

Peñarroya and the area around it are beautiful to wander around and explore. We also found the apartment really comfortable, with all the things you need to feel at home. Sara was attentive and looked after us very well.

There were four of us and we all had a great time. Everything was clean and lovely, and the hosts were attentive whenever we needed anything. We left very happy.

Sara made us feel very welcome, with useful suggestions for activities and visits to nearby towns and a hand whenever we needed one. The apartments are right in the village center, feel cozy, and have plenty of parking. It's a quiet area with lots to do as a family or group, from walks to cultural and leisure activities. Fantastic stay, and we'd definitely come back. Highly recommend.
